If you weight moves to your back foot in the downswing you’re at risk of hitting the ground too far behind the ball producing a chunked shot.
Or if your subconscious mind butts in, you can lift up to avoid the ground and blade the ball across the green into trouble.
So to help reinforce keeping your weight forward and make more consistent contact, use this great drill.
If you don’t have a pool noodle a towel or head over will work. If you want to make it easier, move the pool noodle further from the ball. If you want to make it tougher, move the noodle a little closer to the ball.
